Web28 de out. de 2024 · Pi Zero 2 W is reliably cheap, so add DAC + Zero and Case and you have a perfect set! I'll wait before buying DAC until the new Pi is supported. Web8 de abr. de 2024 · What I'm looking for is an easy/cheap way to connect my laptop to my Cambridge CXA60 via the Toslink or Coax Spdif inputs. I like the sound of the WM8740 dac in the CXA60, so I don't really want to invest in an extra dac. Initially I wanted to run my laptop's sound through the Hifiberry Dac+ DSP on my RPi, but that appears to be a no-go.

It costs USD $59.90 which is quite cheap for balanced output. I think the cheapest stand-alone DAC with XLR output that I have tested was US $150 ( Massdrop Grace SDAC Balanced ).
